Learning Communities

The Learning Communities area within the portal currently provides on-line discussion forums, that allow educational groups in Wales to share ideas, information, comments and best practice.

Alternatively, if you are a member of a group or organisation that

you feel could benefit from access to an on-line discussion forum then you should contact NGfL Cymru to discuss your requirements

It is also envisaged that as part of its future developments NGfL Cymru could provide:

Websites for educational groups in Wales, including
Curriculum subject associations
Special interest groups
Curriculum development groups
Formally constituted educational bodies
Information about these groups to a wider audience of non-members

The intention will be to offer educationalists in Wales a range of facilities might include:

Home page
Password protected members area
Discussion forum that can accommodate open and closed discussions
Resource/document area
Information pages available to all

Significantly, it can also be used by groups of teachers and others working on the preparation of content for inclusion within VTC Cymru. Organisations wishing to use this facility should contact NGfL Cymru to discuss their requirements.
