All 22 Local Education Authorities in Wales are partners in Curriculum Data Wales

The development of the concept of a National Grid for Learning for Wales has been fully supported by the Welsh LEAs throughout the preparation a tender for the Welsh Assembly Government. Once the project is fully operational, it is anticipated that practical support from individual areas will differ and its nature will change as the project develops. Support is likely to include:

• Transfer of GEST funded ICT content to NGfL Cymru
• Collaboration in the modification of existing content prior to transfer to NGfL Cymru
• Linking of appropriate content held on LEA intranets to NGfL Cymru
• Secondment of teachers
• Advice on the content needs of teachers
• Identification of good practice in ICT
• Identification of teachers and schools to be supported by the Schools Innovation Fund to produce new teaching and learning materials
