Welsh Bac Learning Community

Welcome to the Welsh Bac Learning Community for Welsh Bac teachers.

Coming soon - a new look website

We are currently redesigning this website. Its new look will match that of our main site. But we are also improving its structure, making it easier to find essential information and resources.

It will be launched mid June.

On this website you will find:

  • information and guidance on the Welsh Bac
  • teaching resources to help you deliver the curriculum
  • information on the assessment and moderation of the Welsh Bac
  • contact details for other Welsh Bac teachers
  • descriptions of activities in other centres
  • a forum where you can discuss issues with other teachers or members of the Project Team.

The resources are grouped by theme e.g. Wales, Europe and the World, PSE, Work-related Education, Tutoring and Mentoring. The development of key skills permeates all parts of the Welsh Bac, and they are mentioned throughout. However, there are also sections looking specifically at this area.

Some of the resources have been generated as example material by the Project Team and others have been supplied by Welsh Bac teachers. There are also links to existing resources developed by other organisations which could be used to deliver parts of the Welsh Bac curriculum.

As a Welsh Bac teacher, this is your secure online community for accessing information and resources for the Welsh Bac. Please use the forum to discuss issues that are important to you and to obtain feedback on resources or methods of teaching that you are developing yourself.
