Of special note....

In September 2006 more vocational programmes will be offering WBQ including NVQ Hairdressing, BND Care, Health, IT and Travel &Tourism.

We offer WBQ to a variety of vocational areas, some as an option and to some compulsory. We aim to increase the options for September 06.

All WBQ students are brought together for Core delivery twice during the week for 2 x 2 hour sessions. They also have another hour with their pathway tutor for action planning and review.

We bring in a variety of speakers to enhance the delivery and we have quite a variety of visits also.

For the community aspect of the Core we try to be quite innovative and get students involved in lots of different volunteer work, for example Mountain Rescue working with team helping to train the Search and Rescue dogs for Snowwoman.
