Pembrokeshire College
About the college
Pembrokeshire College is an FE College which delivers a variety of vocational courses, A levels and some HE courses. We serve a primarily rural catchment. In the first year, four groups were selected to participate in the second cohort WBQ pilot:
- Professional Catering (Intermediate),
- ND Business (Advanced),
- ND Travel & Tourism (Advanced) and
- AS Levels (Advanced).
Professional Catering were to follow the Intermediate level WBQ and the other three groups were to follow the Advanced level WBQ.
In the second year, ND Engineering joined the Advanced group. In the third year, we added ND Construction to the Advanced portfolio and GCSE Plus at Intermediate level. We successfully bid to become part of the Foundation Level pilot and are currently running three courses - FD Public Services; CFCC Childcare and Pre App Level 1 Mechanical Engineering - under this.
